Dr. John C. Chen was born and raised in Taiwan. His family moved to the United States in 1990. Generations of Dr. Chen's family are physicians and Christian missionaries, and he aspired to a medical career, following the family path that was laid out before him. In 1994, Dr. Chen graduated from University of California, Irvine, with Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science. He next attended the Southern California University of Health Sciences (formerly Los Angeles College of Chiropractic), graduating with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Master degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. Dr. Chen has been serving his patients in Irvine and Orange County CA since 2003.
Dr. Chen knew that he would be a doctor, and when his lower back was seriously injured during his undergraduate year of college, he was healed by chiropractic care. The recovery from his injury encouraged him to research chiropractic care and eventually change his career path from medical doctor to chiropractic. His gift is to bring the body back into balance to promote healing and relief from pain. In his years of practice in chiropractic care, Dr. Chen has adapted quite a range of techniques to accommodate every body type and physical limitation, to insure that his patients are comfortable during treatment and that their pain is reduced or eliminated; his record of success speaks for itself. Dr. Chen has helped hundreds of people from all over the world to heal their body and live pain-free.
